Bronwyn Reid is a small business owner and entrepreneur whose passion is helping small business grow their business fast by taking on 6, 7 or even 8 figure contracts with large organisations. Her latest venture – Mining for Business – will be her third startup, all from the regional Queensland base of Emerald. Bronwyn has been on this journey herself. Her award-winning environmental consultancy has won contracts with every level of Government, and every one of the major mining company operating in Australia including BHP and Rio Tinto, and two of the three main CSG producers. All the knowledge and experience Bronwyn has gained over her years of developing her own business and dealing with large companies has been put together in the Small Company, Big Business Program, and the M4B Supply Chain Business Map. The Map charts the path to becoming a reliable, successful and profitable supplier to large organisations – whether they be government, corporates, or even large Not-For-Profits. Bronwyn will also be releasing her first book in late 2015/early 2016. Bronwyn currently serves on the BMA Local Buying Foundation Advisory Committee, the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Expert Reference Group, and the CQUniversity Rockhampton Regional Engagement Committee. She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Bronwyn was the winner of the Queensland Rural Regional and Remote Womens’ Network Strong Womens’ Business Leadership Award for 2013, and runner up in the Key Person of Influence Brisbane Pitchfest for 2014.
