Louise Hallinan has been working in the natural health industry for more than 10 years and is a fully qualified Nutritionist and Homeopathic Practitioner. It was from her own personal experience that led Louise into becoming a Natural Health Practitioner. She contracted dysentery from drinking contaminated water and had chronic gastroenteritis for 6 years. She was told by doctors she had to “live with it”, but eventually regained good health after doing her own research. After such great results, Louise studied natural medicine and graduated with a Diploma of Nutrition in 2000 and Diploma of Homeopathy in 2004. She established Forestville Natural Health and later Brookvale Natural Health treating various health conditions. Over those years she consistently found that many people were struggling with poor memory, foggy thinking and forgetfulness. This was an area that Louise had an intense concern and interest in. Her mother, Alice, suffered with Alzheimer’s Disease for many years and passed away in 2000. The personal experience has given Louise a deep understanding of the devastation caused by this disease. Louise co-wrote a research paper in 2003, “Alzheimer’s Disease: A homeopathic look at Treatment and Prevention”, a copy of which is in the Alzheimer’s Association Library in Sydney. Over the past decade, Louise has been researching memory problems and their causes to find the answers so many are looking for. Her works have culminated with Louise writing her first book “Smart Brain, Healthy Brain”. In honour of her mother, Louise established The Hallinan Memory Clinic in Sydney. This has now evolved into the Smart Brain Health Centre, where she provides memory testing, rehabilitation and prevention strategies.
