Antony is an experienced Retailer, Ecommerce Finance Professional. Antony spent 15 years with international retailers, before moving into smaller multi-channel and pure Ecommerce retailers. Antony was born into a retailing family and studied Retail Management. Antony is the author of the International Bestseller The Retail Handbook and the creator of the UK wide Digital High Street Skills programme. Both the book and the training programme are aimed at helping smaller businesses learn from the larger retailers and learn how to trade successfully online. Antony has launched 3 brand new Ecommerce businesses and relaunched two fashion brand Ecommerce businesses, as well as developing the Dixons Ecommerce businesses from the beginning. Antony’s experience in retail is an impressive list of skills and achievements, including developing the Store of The Future programme for Marks & Spencer, managing the UK Ecommerce websites for Dixons Retail and integrating a newly acquired £80m turnover B2B company. He created a new European Shared Service Centre (SSC) where he developed the business and implemented SAP. After 2 years he employed 250 people and serviced 11 countries. He later became Finance Director for the Dixons Commercial team. Antony established a pure Ecommerce business from scratch launching an entire brand, range, marketing program in 9 months. Following this, Antony has developed a number of Multi-channnel and Ecommerce businesses, partnering with the existing teams or developing new teams to implement successful businesses.
